Ham All the broth Head of cabbage Put in a large pot and boil. This made the best cabbage and ham dish we’ve ever had. You could add potatoes. Serve with a Caesar salad using a homemade salad dressing. 1/2 c vegetable or olive oil Add two crushed clove garlic 1 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon lemon juice 1 large egg yoke Put altogether and whip Wash and cut the romaine lettuce in small pieces and put in refrigerator to “wake up the lettuce”as mother would say. Crisp bacon and diced tomatoes along with croutons and fresh Parmesan cheese make it perfect. And of course the turkey soup with all the vegetables left that don’t have the casserole toppings!
