My oldest granddaughter, Madeline Grace Crowley, age 12, prefers to be called Maddy. She has been helping me with this blog by taking pictures and setting up scenes but now she thinks it’s her turn to put up a recipe. She said this dessert fruity pie is so easy even her friends could make it. Maddy thinks it’s pretty enough to serve for Christmas dinner. Here is the recipe she used, but you can use any combination of fruit you like. Strawberries or cherries and kiwi would bring out the red and green of Christmas!

Yum! That looks absolutely delicious. It reminds me a little of the 24 hour salad that Aunt Wanda makes. Maddy looks so grown up and beautiful these days.

What beautiful pictures of the pie, your kitchen, and of course, of Maddie! Did you take down your kitchen curtains for the greenery? It looks great! Maybe Maddie will make the pie again if we get to visit this month :)!!!

yes, I took down the curtains and since its almost Christmas I thought the greenier would do for now. Lisa puts out decorations and then I do and we both agree “it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas all around our house!” Maddy would be delighted to make you and Bob a pie. name your fruit!
