Strawberry Shortcake / Overnight Oatmeal

Strawberries are popping up everywhere these days and they are so sweet you don’t even need to add sugar. 🍓 Here I have added some blueberries just for color and extra taste. Make the short bread from the Bisquick mix, easy and delicious. I made these for breakfast!  Top with whipped cream or cool whip. Yummy to the tummy!!🍓🍓

This is a perfect breakfast to fix the night before. Mix equal amounts of quick oats and coconut milk or regular milk in a bowl. Add vanilla and nuts ( I like sliced almonds) and stir to mix well. Put the oatmeal mixture in bowls or cups and cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator till morning. In the morning add a teaspoon of brown sugar on top of the oatmeal and any fresh fruit you like. It tastes so good you won’t know it’s good for you! You can always add flax seeds or chia seeds for extra healthful benefits. My niece, Jessica Brevard, found this on Pinterest while back and we tweaked it a bit.

Well, why not?? It has milk and eggs in it? Isn’t getting older fun??💕

  • Please send me any of your family favorites and I bet there’s a story that goes with it!!❤️
